9 Disturbing moments from Riverdale last night

Last night's episode of Riverdale was a bonkersblast from the past, with our entire crew taking place for their parents in a flashback narrated by Alice Cooper. Finally, the origin of "Gryphons and Gargoyles" and the deep dark secret of the eldest generation were both revealed. But more importantly, some disturbing details were revealed that you may have missed during the 80's hair and cosplay.

We already knew that Alice Cooper, née Smith, got pregnant with Chic while joining FP Jones in high school, but did you know about the awesome start of Penvope and Clifford Blossom's marriage?

Here, nine details you need to know about mom and dad from Breakfast Club The Spinoff episode, "The Midnight Club". Warning: spoilers past this point.

  1. Fred Andrews was also a musician, and could be even better than his son.
    1. Now we know where Archie gets it. The headmaster's singer and guitarist – who has a rather rough definition on Urban Dictionary – used to wear drums and had great dreams of being mayor in Riverdale while playing gigs on the weekend and taking care of his sick father. But after Fred's father passed away and Principal Featherhead was killed, the boy sold with gold his guitar and sat down on the construction industry.

It is also important to note the other members of The Fred Heads: FP on drums, Alice on keyboard, Sierra McCoy on backup song and Hermione on tambourine. I do not know if this was an outstanding performance, but we will definitely need an encore event at some form of the city's talent show.

I do not want a scrub if he does not give me pearls.

      2. Hermin's mom worked for five seasons, where the lodges live now.

A true slogan to rich history, Hermione chose Young Hiram Lodge (depicted by Mark Consuelo's son and vocal sounding Michael Consuelos) because she saw potential in the "small thief" and was determined not to stop cleaning up for wealthy people like her mother. We did not meet Hermin's mom in this section, but she's my new favorite character because she refers to Hiram like a scrub.

      3. FP Jones did not want to be a worm.

Before turning to G & G, the prison sentence begins by playing a game of secrets and sins. Young FP (who sports a bulldog postman) was proclaimed by Alice to pretend to live on Elm Street (Freddy Krueger's reference Roberto) when he actually grew up in the Sunny Side trailer park on the south side.

In a scene stripped straight from TBCFP said he would do something to not get to his father who ran with the snakes, drank too much and hit him. It is especially heartbreaking when considering how Jughead lived in season one and how difficult he also resisted the time before entering.

      4. Sierra McCoy and Tom Keller dated in high school.

While this development is actually extremely cute, it is annoying that the couple was forced from their parents to be too "different" (ie she is black and he is white). But this definitely adds a new layer of sympathy to their business years later, while Keller's wife earns her country abroad.

      5. Penelope Blossom's childhood was a nightmare.

In what was definitely the most worrying moment in the episode, Penelope revealed that she grew up in the sisters of orphaned orphanage until the Blossomatriarch arrived and asked to see all the red haired children. She was then adopted and prepared to be Clifford's sister and later his wife. Seriously, what is it? with That family and incest? this is not Game of Thrones.

Although Penelope joined the Midnight Club as a champion to take control of her own life and rebel, she eventually chose to cling to Cliff after the events of the Ascension Party.

      6. Alice and Fred have joined.

We knew about Alice and FP's high school fling and that she should finally marry Hal Cooper. We also knew Hermione and Fred dated while Hiram was still in jail so it was not surprising to see that they joined the hip in this flashback episode. What was unexpected was the short link between Fred and Alice during a G & G quest.

Falice is strange enough considering how serious Bughead has become (especially if you think their children are still living somewhere), but now Barchies feel few hookups troubled. FP and Hermione live better far, far from each other is all I say.

      7. Dilton dad also played G & G, the game that would later take his son's life.

Not much to say about this, it's just sad.

      8. FP Jones also had a crown.

Resident Weirdo Jughead Jones seems to have acquired his father's taste in headgear. During their game FP had a crooked crown similar to the original Archie Comic design. It's a fun treat with Jughead's beanie, though I have no idea what it's related to his G & G sign, Dead Eye.

      9. Alice Cooper is The Sorceress.

Talk about G & G avatars, picked Alice The Sorceress. "Perhaps I'll do all your nerds disappear," she joked. But it's actually an interesting choice, given the many fan theories that Alice is a witch and she recently joined a cult who may or may not live children. What do you think?
