Anastasia Beverly Hills and Amra Oleic launch new eyeshadow palette – interview

How do you follow up the wild success of high-brow fans who call "literally the most beautiful I've ever seen"? Makeup artist and beauty enthusiast Amra Olević (aka AmRezy) is more than the task and trust us – the final product lives up to the hype. January 14 Anastasia Beverly Hills and AmRezy will release a third makeup collaboration: AmRezy Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills.

"I had a lot more fun with this palette than my first one," Olević says attract. "I needed something that would attract someone when they saw it."

Inspired by her intense love for the color pink, the YouTube star says she wanted to keep everything in the theme of her nature, which she describes as "girly girl." The palette – encased in a shimmering Barbie-pink case – features 16 shades, including pink neutral "Anastasia" and lively turquoise metallic "Leo". And although she loves all the colors, her personal favorites include a light pink shade with glitter called "Barb" (a tribute to Nicki Minaj and the rapper's dedicated fans) and a toasted gold with a silver shimmer named Gemini, of which she says, " I have to represent all my Geminis out there. "

Each shade is rich in pigments with incredible stay and they all have an incredible stay. For her, it was important to create something that would stop people in their tracks and attract them. "I needed to find a happy balance there …[the shades] were bold, but they were still portable for everyone, she says.

The fans may stick to a shade for a more monochromatic look, but she also encourages experimenting with mixing and matching the shadows you want. "Halo eyes are really popular," says Olević. "The palette can be used in so many different ways and that's what I love about makeup; there's really no formula for how you can use it."

As we mentioned earlier, this is her third collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills, and it's more than just a natural fit for her at this time. In fact, she says that the brand is like family to her. "I like to call Anastasia my fair godmother. She has helped me develop year after year and gives me these amazing – and countless – opportunities to create what I want. Nothing is better for an artist."

When it comes to what's next for Olević, the possibilities are endless. While she would love to create some kind of body stroke or nude product in the future, Olevic's next official plans have her going in a different direction. But she tells attract she "can't give too much information", reveals Olević that her next company will take her to the realm of hair. Until then, however, we will be more than happy to enjoy the new palette.
