As usual, my dilemma for finding the perfect humidity crisis has not yet been solved. So after using hyaluronic acid serum (Marine Hyaluronics) from The Ordinary, this is my second hyaluronic acid serum and I was and was absolutely unsure what to expect. The best part is that I write the review almost a month after I have finished the product so I also have in mind how my skin is doing after I finish the serum.
Dot & Key is a recent addition to my knowledge of brands. They have interesting products with their vitamin C and retinol serum which are still on my overview shelf. After quitting the hyaluronic acid serum, I started with vitamin C serum and I'm almost halfway through it. As I have already said, hyaluronic acid is a fantastic moisturizing ingredient for the skin and if you have dry skin, you should give hyaluronic acid serum a try.

The packaging mentions important ingredients and not the complete set of ingredients list. The concentration of serum hyaluronic acid proving the effectiveness of such treatment serum is also lacking. But I like other ingredients in the list but the same arguments apply to them as well.
The concentration of ingredients is unknown due to the lack of complete
ingredient list. Bulgarian rose oil and acai berry fruit oil really look
interesting. Milk lipids help moisturize the skin. Ceramide 3 is absorbed
into the skin and improves the skin barrier, which helps with the appearance of
When used locally, hyaluronic acid creates a moisture barrier on the skin, which helps to make it softer and softer. This ingredient can hold up to 1,000x its own weight in water, providing amazing benefits for dehydrated skin. (Source – https://stylecaster.com/beauty/skin-care-ingredients/)
The serum comes in a nice blue sturdy bottle with a stopper. The serum is transparent and flowing in structure. It has a mild scent that I did not like the first time. But the smell didn't bother the nose at all and disappear as soon as I apply serum on my face. Since the structure is running, you have to be careful to apply it.
I started using serum in mid-July and it lasted me almost a month with a complete pump too
As I mentioned before, the hyaluronic acid serum is very runny so I apply it in dots all over the face and neck and rub it gently. The serum is absorbed fairly quickly, leaving no sticky feeling behind. In fact, it is easy to say that skin drinks up serum instead. But the serum is not lonely for me and I have to follow it up with moisturizer otherwise my skin will become stretchy.
The serum causes the skin to glow and hydrate it from the inside, but on some days it may not be enough depending on how you take care of your skin and the weather outside. The hydration lasts a full day even if you do not wash your face at night. It keeps the skin moist
Overall, I loved the product especially considering it is Rs 900. There are very few hyaluronic acid rooms at that price range on the market and this is one of them that does a pretty good job. So yes, you should make hyaluronic acid serum a part of your daily skincare routine. I also have Dot & Key's vitamin C and retinol serum for review in the coming weeks so stay tuned for them!
I would also like to apologize to the brand. This review has been delayed too long because I couldn't quite find the time to click on pictures and post them for review. To update you about changes in my life I recently started working full time again and since then my routine has been everywhere, so the posts are sporadic. I'm still trying to get everything under control.
Until then, Swathy.
