If one of your good friends is a famous makeup artist, do not less than 100 percent to ask them to make your makeup on your wedding day. For one thing, it gets them from the gift-buying hook, and more importantly, you can be sure you look amazing. So it's no surprise that Gwyneth Paltrow trusted his friend Gucci Westman for her September 29 to television producer Brad Fulchuk, and of course she used products from both the Paltrow brand, Goop and her own Westman Atelier.
Pictures on the big day were finally shared on goop.com a little more than a month after the event. The gallery included a photo of Westman who applied Paltrow's makeup together with Cameron Diaz, who got the hair done by stylist Orlando Pita. Westman's blend blushes on Paltrow's face, its adorable freckles are visible.
Westman shared the photo on Instagram on Friday. "What honor to help me long friend @gwynethpaltrow get ready for her big day" she wrote in the caption and said that Paltrow would look like herself, but a bit improved, just my cup of tea! "Before embarking on the makeup, Westman says she applied Goop of Juice Beauty Revitalizing Day Moisturizer and Enriched Facial Oil.
Westman then used her Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinted Highlight on Paltrow's cheeks and eyelids "to create beneath the skin glow", followed by two shades of her Vital Skin Foundation Stick to create a smoother skin. She applied Face Trace Contour Stick to biscuit to contour under her cheekbone and then Beauty Butter Powder Bronzer on the forehead and näsbroen. She also used Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in a few ways: First, the Dou Dou was used on her cheeks, and then the shades Petal and Poppet were combined on her lips "for extra juiciness".
Talk about juiciness, Westman also used several from Juice Beauty, the brand Paltrow joined the creative makeup manager in 2016. The included Phyto-Pigments Sheer Lip Gloss, Liquid Line & Define, Brow Envy Gel and Ulta-Natural Mascara.
Although there are not too many images showing a close-up of the finished look, it is clear that Paltrow looked brilliant, as seen in the post-ceremony photo she shared with Instagram on Friday. "Took me a little while to get it together, but finally, for those who requested, look a little inside the best day of our lives," she wrote. And if you look closely you can see her lookalike daughter, apple, brilliant in the background – very likely made even brighter by westman.
