Gywneth Paltrow wants to "rebrand" menopause when she reveals the symptoms of perimenopausal symptoms

Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has shown that she begins to see signs of early menopause.

The 46-year-old actress, mother of daughter Apple, 14, and son Moses, 12, recently married Brad Falchuk, but while the blond beauty looks youthful in her age, she is secretly suffering from sweating, hormonal changes and mood swings in connection with menopause.

The Oscar winner made the confessions during a video chat she uploaded to her lifestyle Goop.

She explained: "When you get into the perimenopause you notice many changes. I can feel hormonal changes that happen, the moods, you are suddenly furious for no reason."

She said society needs to change how it looks at the process and adds: "The menopause gets a really bad rap and needs some rebranding.

"I remember when my mother went through menopause and it was so much and I thought there was sadness for her and all those feelings.

"I do not think we in society are a good example of an ambitious menopausal woman."

Perimenopause, also known as menopause, can occur several years before menopause. During that time, the ovaries gradually lower the estrogen until it stops releasing eggs completely.

While Gwyneth does not go through menopause, she confirmed that she had experienced some signs that she might be on her way after noting a "noticeable hormone displacement" and she is linked to a menopause supplement called Madame Ovary, which aims to alleviate symptoms, and according to Goop costs 70 SEK for one month.

Among the other premenopausal symptoms are symptoms: hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and discomfort during the sex, difficulty sleeping, low mood or anxiety, decreased sex drive (libido), memory and concentration problems.

The average age a woman goes through menopause is 50.
