I tried the tool that really gets rid of cellulite

Okay, I know you already think this sounds too good to be true, but I swear you, this device really works. Beauty tools using electrical micro currents have made major breakthroughs for in-office treatments and in recent years handheld devices like NuFace and Ziip have used electric currents to tone and tighten the face – obsessed, btw. The latest geni-beauty device targets cellulite, releasing dimples while toning and tightening body parts. Meet the NuFACE NuBODY Skin Toning Device, $ 400. I tried to see how it worked, how fast it worked and where it worked!

What it is: An apparatus that creates and tightens the skin by delivering low voltage electrical currents that emulate your body's own electrical currents at cellular level.

What it does: The device will stimulate collagen and elastin production and can be used in areas such as thighs, bumps, upper arms (hello bingo wings) and abs. You only need to use the tool in the treatment area for five minutes each day, and apply only a leading priming gel (as it is included) and hold the tool or slide it in upward motion over the area you want to target. They suggest using the tool for 60 days, five days a week and then only three times a week after that.

What we liked: I really wanted to try this on my bum and my toes and I was so impressed that after a few applications I could already notice a difference, which I did not expect as the manual said you would use it for about two months. I continued to use it, and I'm honest, I did not do it five days a week, but it still made a difference. I've personally found that regardless of how much I exercise (not enough) or trying to eat healthy (I always suck with mac and cheese) I only have some stubborn areas that will not tighten, so this has definitely helped!

NuFace says that for stubborn dimpled areas you can keep NuBody stationary, so when I felt lazy, I did just that – which I think will also work well for bingo fans. I really want to try it for backflab, but I need my husband Chris to help me with it! It does not hurt, but it may feel a little spotty if you do not apply enough conductive gel.

What we did not like: Five minutes a day does not sound like much, but if you want to treat some areas, it may take quite some time. The good thing is that it's super easy and you do not have to concentrate while you do it so you can easily do it while using Netflix. But if you want to do more than one place puts everything on it; I made my bum and the back of my thighs that took about 25 minutes because you also have to apply the leading gel and remove it. The leading gel is very slim, so it's not something you want to get on your clothes or go on.

The verdict: I love the idea of ‚Äč‚Äčthis and I was very pleased with the results, but it's expensive, and it can be quite time-consuming if you use it for multiple areas. If it's far from your beauty budget and the time is not on your side, there's always 7-minute workout and dry brushing (as I swear by). Even if you consider how much time and money you should spend on equalization management, you get more for your money with NuBody.
