Nutrition Bars are really popular these days but I end up in the skeptics bracket. I have always been worried about the ingredients that are used to making them, especially for the protein bars and preservatives. In some way, I always equate them to the factory processed foods.
So when The Lean Snack came under my radar I was not sure. I asked them about their list of ingredients and product literature before they even looked at their website. So, what do I think about them?
Lean Snack Nutrition Bars
Price: Rs 60 for 30 grams (they have packs of 4, 8, 16 and 24 that are even more economical!)
The lean cooking rods are available in four flavors – mango, chocolate, dates and cranberries. The ingredient list for each of them is more or less the same and is completely natural according to their labels. Oats, hunting and butter are the basic ingredients for all their nutritional bars.
I loved the dates and the cranberry flavor. Even when I had lunch and breakfast, this nutrition store held me for half an hour and gave me time to prepare my next meal. Of course, I will not suggest you skip the meals. Nutritional bars are not a replacement for any meal so please do not. And yes, they are a great option when you travel or work or just want to crush on something.
These bars will keep you drunk for at least an hour and with the right diet in place, you will definitely not feel any requests. The bars are rich in fiber, low in sugar, filling and releasing energy. The calorie number is smaller and it is also a good pre-workout bite.
Overall, I loved these nutrition bars for both their taste and quality and I would definitely suggest you try dates and cranberries. The fact is that even Mr. P (that's my husband for those who are new) loved the taste of the day the most.
