Hello everyone! Today, I share some of my current skin care products with you. Some of these are new launches, some are just new to me, but everyone has worked very well for my combination skin.
FOREO LUNA 2 for cleaning
The weather has become extremely hot and humid in Mumbai, which always causes my skin to become too fat, resulting in breakouts. I knew about the LUNA range FOREO, and had reviewed LUNA mini 2, about a year ago. Here is the link, for those who have not seen it. Fortunately, LUNA mini 2 worked for miracles for my skin and with the whole touching phenomenon, I decided to upgrade my gadget to the next model, which is LUNA 2. The cleaning brush comes in 4 varieties, for each skin type and I'm glad there is one combination skin combination; I often meet a lot of struggle when choosing products for combination skin!
TRIED & TESTED: MY VERDICT
What I like most about the FOREO cleaning brushes (because I have used two now) is the fact that they are not hard and abrasive on the skin, unlike many others available on the market. Clean with medical grade silicon, clean the brush through the pores and remove excess oil, dirt and dirt, making it the perfect skin care partner and the supplement in my kit. As a beauty and makeup flu, my biggest problem (even because of my skin type) was the constant feeling that my skin felt oily and lacking shine. I noticed visible results and the difference in my skin structure and tone after using it for a month.
IS THE VALUE INVESTMENT?
The product is undoubtedly on the expensive side. But with all that investment, it's a dramatic improvement in skin's external health, and the best part is that it comes with a 2 year warranty (which is very unlike other brands on the market). So it's definitely a YES, from my side! You can get this at Sephora in India, in the store as well as online.
Forest Essentials Clean Rosewater fog for toning
Immediately after cleaning, I have used Forest Essentials Pure Rosewater fog, which is an old favorite. It works like a toner, like a hydrating mist and I love how it smells! I also like to use it all day, just like a refreshing fog and it helps my skin to become hydrated.
Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Gel for moisturizing
In the moisturizer / masking section I have been able to switch to easier formulations with the changing weather. The new Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly has worked really well because of its featherweight formula. It is a running jelly, absolutely non fat, which drops into the skin within a few seconds. It contains hyaluronic acid and glycerin as humectants and a mixture of sunflower seeds, barley and cucumber fruit extracts to improve skin moisture barrier. If you have oily skin, give this!
Kiehls Calendula and Aloe Soothing Hydrating Masque as an overnight mask
Kiehls Calendula and Aloe Soothing Hydrating Masque also have a beautiful light jelly consistency that soothes and hydrates the skin directly. I have used this as an overnight mask lately and it is a good job to plot and hydrate my skin! Also, a little goes far so this 100 ml bath will be several months easy!
Olive Rosehip Oil for dryness, wrinkles, stains and pigmentation
The latest new addition to my routine is Rosehip Oil from the New Zealand-based organic brand, Olive. This was recently launched at Sephora India and I tried several of its products. It's a brand based, you guessed it right, Oliver! The fresh olives from their farms are used to get the best of the first press of the oil and that's the oil used in their products. Rosehip Oil combines the compensatory benefits of rosemary seed oil with its nourishing properties and the resulting mixture is a powerful oil that handles dryness, wrinkles, stains and pigmentation.
So that's my current favorite skin care products, have you tried any of these?
