Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are back in the US looking happy and healthy.

The famous couple was spotted in Los Angeles on Friday returning to the states after quarantining in Australia when testing positive for coronavirus earlier this month. In photographs that do the rounds online (you can see them here), Hanks and Wilson are smiling in their SUV, which Hanks was driving.

It has been about two and a half weeks since Hanks announced that he and his wife had tested positive for the virus and quarantined Australia, where he was filming a movie at the time.

"We felt a little tired, like we had colds and some aches in the body. Rita had some chills that came and went. A little fever too. To play things right, as needed in the world right now, we were tested for Coronavirus, and turned out to be positive, "the actor wrote in a March 11 post. "Well, now. What should I do next? The drug authorities have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks will be tested, observed and isolated as long as public health and safety require. Not much more than one day at the moment, no?"

On March 22, 11 days after news of their diagnosis broke, Hanks reported that he and Wilson were doing better. The actor encouraged fans to self-isolate and practice social distance to slow the spread of the virus.

"Hi guys. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we (Rita Wilson) are feeling better," Hanks wrote on Facebook. "Protection on site works like this: You don't give it to anyone. You don't get it from anyone. Common sense, no? Will take a while, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some amenities … this too should go. We can figure this out. "

As usual, Tom Hanks has absolutely nailed it.
