Morphe X James Charles

The one who follows the beauty blog James Charles knows that his makeup look is NEXT level. He not only has crazy mixes, but we love his creativity and the dimension of his appearance. When we heard Morphe and James Charles collaborating, we were of course interested in seeing what would be offered, and he must say – we were impressed! Morphe X James Charles Collection includes a 39-shadow eye shadow palette and a handmade collection of 33 brushes (launches today), here's what we thought:

Eyeshadow palette:

Morphe X James Charles

What it is: A 39-shade palette, including matte and shimmering formulas, with seven extra-large transition screens, each hand selected by James Charles to let you go inside your inner artist.

What it does: The crazy color range allows you to create literally all styles you want! Whether you feel a soft and neutral look (check the upper left corner) or you want to be bold and use all the rainbow colors on the two lower lines.

SWATCHES: Sister, so good, wig, face

SWATCHES: Bee, Playground, Social Magazine, Ships

SWATCHES: Guac, Artistry, Shook, literally

What we liked: We are seriously impressed by the pigmentation in these pans; like to literally just dip your brush in the mattes and you're good to go! And while these carpets are superpigmented, they also mix beautifully and work in harmony together without muddy dough when combined. The shimmering shades are VERY beautiful and give the best intensity when used with a small tight brush. Of course, this palette's versatility is INSANE, and we love that the color spectrum of the rainbow gives you the freedom to create a variety of bombs.Untitled-1

We also love that you can use this as a facial palette as well, the shadow facial beautiful to highlight fair and medium skin tones, while So Good and Wig looks into deeper complexes. The black shade, Spooky, serves as a liner in a pinch, while shades like Punch Me and Tea will work for contouring and whipping the face. We love using the white shadow, Flashback as a base to intensify the pigments in the other shades.

What we did not like: The only problem with this palette is that it's so big, so it's not really good to travel … But can you complain if you can use all these shades on the registry? No!

Price: $ 39

The brushes:

Morphe X James Charles

What it is: A set of 33 facial and eye brushes and a blend of sponges with crunchy edges to make baking and snatching like contour even easier. James chose 21 of his fave brushes and duplicated the most common eyebrows, so you never need to worry about blending your pigments incorrectly again. There are three of the M433 brush and two of several other eye brushes.

What we liked: If you are looking for a GREAT breast collection we will die over this choice. The facial brushes are very soft and it is the perfect collection for applying powder, even if there is no specific brush. We love the M501 Pro Pointed Blender Brush, which is literally the brush for contouring, and also the E48 Mini Pointed Powder brushes to raise the cheekbone.

To the eyes, there is literally any type of mixing brush you may want: from the perfect tight brush (M224) for concealer packing or even shimmer formulas to the M158 Angled Liner and Spoolie brush that are essential for browsers.

Price: $ 149 (value $ 218)

The verdict: Overall, if you are in beauty and do not want any restrictions to let your inner artist expire, this palette and brush collection is a great start!
