1. Inflammatory foods

What you put in your body is as important as what you put on your body.

Some inflammatory foods that can make you age faster include:

But why is that so?

Eating too many inflammatory foods can break down cells in your body like are responsible for collagen production.

As a refreshment, collagen is essential to our skin, as it keeps your skin firm and wrinkle-free.

If processed, fried and surgical foods are included in your daily diet, you may want to make some adjustments.

Not just for your skin's health, but for yours overall body health!

Inflammatory foods also lead to more serious conditions, such as heart problems.

A good rule of thumb is everything in moderation.

Rather than eating a monk for breakfast every day, just trying to have them once a month or on special occasions.

Substitutive fat meat for fresh fish rich in omega fatty acids.

Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables instead of potato chips at the snack time.

Small changes in your diet improve your health and health on your skin.

2. Stress

I'm sure most of you who read this article are a little familiar to stress.

Children, work, family … the list of things to worry about continues and continues.

Exposing your body to stress over a long period of time results in stress hormones, for example cortisol, released into the body.

This is great if you run from bears and dodging other threats.

Cortisol keeps you on high alert, ready to act.

But these days we are not constantly attacked by predators; We are now worried that we will meet deadlines and end reports at work.

Being in this constant state of flight or horror puts a huge drain on your immune system and other bodily functions.

If your insider works overtime it means that it will appear on the outside.

So, if you can't finish your demanding job and lie on a hot beach 24/7, how can you manage your stress?

Good news – there are many simple and effective ways to handle it!

  • Breathe. When was the last time you closed your eyes and took a deep cleansing breath? Close your eyes, inhale and let new oxygen fill each nook and cranny in your body. Let your shoulders relax from your ears while you are on it. Continue, I'm waiting.
  • Sleep. While you sleep, your body heals. Make an effort to increase the amount of sleep you get each day.
  • Exercise. Moving your body at least three times a week will do wonders for your stress levels. Thanks, endorphins!

Talking about stress …

3. Alcohol

Oh Mai Tai, take me away.

Do you ever spend alcohol because you had a bad or stressful day?

Hey, that's okay!

I'm not here to judge, because someone along the way invented Mai Tais and they are delicious.

But drink too much and too often is very dehydrating.

Alcohol is a natural diuretic, which means it drops a lot of your fluid from the body.

This makes the skin look dry and dull, and fine lines and wrinkles appear more prominent.

It can also make your face more flushed because it expands the blood vessels.

You can read more about alcohol and your skin in This article.

I mentioned moderation before and this is also true.

Enjoy life and drink your drinks!

Just not every day.

4. Ignore your eyes

If you have a skin care routine for your face, I hope eye cream is part of it!

Many people I know write it off and think that ordinary and moisturizers are a good substitute.

This is not so.

Think of all the screaming and constant movement our eyes do!

You can start using eye cream already in the 20th century to prevent future signs of aging.

I say it all the time here on my blog – Prevention is easier than treatment.

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest and most sensitive, so it is more prone to dryness, dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles.

Eye cream is thicker than a traditional moisturizer and contains active ingredients to correct some of these problems.

An eye cream that contains peptides is best, like mine Anti-Aging Peptide Eye Cream.

Peptides help to revitalize your skin by holding firmness and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

My formula also approaches and protects the delicate skin around the eyes with natural ingredients such as passionflower extract and grape extract.

5. Wash your face too much

In addition to using sunscreen, cleansing the face is the most important part of your skin care routine.

It removes acne-causing bacteria, excess oils, dirt, makeup and contaminants while applying the skin to your other products.

However, you should not clean more than twice a day.

This causes your skin to dry out by stripping the natural oils as is there to protect your skin and keep it youthful.

Clean your face in the morning and evening is the best rule of thumb.

If nothing else, be sure to clean your face in the evening to remove anything that has accumulated on your face during the day.

If you are looking for a good cleaning I have covered you!

My foamy pumpkin cleanser has a non-drying and gentle formula that balances the skin pH and refines the pores for a noticeably glowing skin color.

It is made with refreshing, soothing ingredients such as aloe, carrot seed oil and pumpkin seed oil.

6. Sleep your face down

Now this is a tricky one.

What if you are someone who just sleeps very well on your stomach or side?

Do you sacrifice a good night's sleep to save your face from wrinkles?

I'd say getting enough sleep at night is more important than worrying about fine lines, but it's up to you.

Let's talk about why this happens.

If you sleep on your stomach or side, your face will be in the pillow.

You can risk prints or beautiful designs on your face that later become lines.

As we age, we lose the elasticity of our skin.

This causes creases in the skin to stay permanently.

7. Less sleep

You think carefully, "Gosh, first is how I sleep, now it's how much I sleep that affects aging?"

CDC recommends that adults get 7-9 hours of sleep each night.

Excuse me when I try to keep a laugh – if you have kids you know it seems impossible!

But this number varies from person to person because we are all different.

You know how much sleep you need to know your best.

I really try and squeeze in the recommended hours by moving around my routine if I need to.

When we sleep, our skin has time to repair and recover from environmental stressors, and night care products have time to go to work.

Consistent Not getting enough sleep can create dark undereye circles, puffiness and dull skin.

In addition, there are countless studies that show that you do not get enough sleep can harm your overall health.

Some of my clients have reported that it also leads to a flare up in skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis and eczema.

If you need more proof, a study revealed that those who did not sleep well showed more fine lines, uneven pigmentation and reduced skin elasticity than their counterparts who had enough sleep.

My Night R1 Retinol Facial Oil is my absolute favorite product to wear at night to wake up with glowing, younger skin.

I love skin care products that do all the work for me while I sleep, thank you very much!

8. Do not use sunscreen

If you have read my blog before, you already know to have sunscreen every day is the fastest and easiest way to fight aging.

Yes, even when it is cloudy.

I get it – it can be easy to forget, and the sun's heat can be addictive (especially for those who live in colder climates).

But the sun and excessive exposure to UV rays break down your skin cells, causing age spots, uneven texture, wrinkles and even skin cancer.

You can check out some of my previous articles on sun damage here and here.

If that wasn't enough, here's a serious statistic.

Fortunately, sunscreen does not have to be a job!

Personally I love Scanning Prevention + Daily Ultimate Protection Moisturizer SPF 50 for its moisturizing abilities.

It melts with my skin so smoothly that I forget that I even wear sun protection!

9. Use a straw

Not only has robbery fallen until recently (hello, Starbucks and Disneyland), but they also create fine lines around the mouth!

Use a straitw to sip your favorite drink has the same effect on the skin around your lips as smoking does.

The repeated subsequent movement will eventually cause permanent lines around the mouth, as well as loss of elasticity.

Don't despair! Everything in moderation…

Did I mention aging is inevitable?

Even if you never leave your house, exercise the right amount and drink within reason, you will still age.

And at the top of everything, the list is not complete.

That's right, there are more things out there that contribute to aging!

So, what's a madman to do?

I hope you continue to live.

The point of life is to live it and live it on your way.

As my friend said recently, "I earned these wrinkles!"

Exercise daily, or do not.

Sleep your face down, or not.

Whatever you choose, you are happy with them and embrace your beautiful self.
