What happens when you wear sunscreen every day?

Recently, I have observed a few moles that come out on my arms. You must already be aware that the development of new moles is usually not a good sign. It may indicate skin cancer at worst. When you wear sun protection every day, you can save your skin from such drastic changes as usual.

I was really worried because I haven't used sunscreen over the last two to three years anyway. And I can definitely say that if you don't wear sunscreen every day, it turns out pretty easily on your skin. I have seen the effects of not having sunscreen every day.

How do sunscreens affect the skin if you wear sunscreen every day?

Skin aging Stops

Okay, this is an overstatement. But if you wear sunscreen every day, you would already have noticed that your skin looks younger, firmer and definitely less wrinkled, especially around the eyes and lips. The deep wrinkles or lines or even laughing lines can be replenished by regularly using sunscreens.

Helps keep your skin hydrated

Actually, sunscreen itself acts as a barrier and protects your skin. Meanwhile, it also helps improve the skin's barrier function and helps you prevent your skin from losing moisture and lipids in the long run. This is not a one-off effect but something you will notice gradually over a period of time that you wear sunscreen every day and regularly.

Let your night treatments work well

You can use the best anti-aging creams but they would not work unless you compliment them on protecting yourself in the sun. In fact, you cannot use retinoids and AHA for your skin unless you wear sunscreen every day religiously. Using these ingredients makes your skin sensitive to sun damage.

If you have sunscreen every day, your night treatment and retinoids also work well. What I have often observed is that the deep wrinkles of the skin also fill slowly when you start sunscreen and use the right anti-aging products or even regular facial oils. Do not use sunscreen regularly or even use it sporadically can lead to skin and wrinkle damage.

The quality of the skin is very deeply affected and none of the antioxidants and treatments work longer in such cases. More serious than that is the risk of skin cancer. Did you know now that skin cancer is also covered by cancer insurance plan. The Council to use sunscreen is no longer just a frightening tactic to make you use a skin care product and multinational mint money companies.

Do and don 't sunscreen

Wearing sunscreen every day will bring many benefits. But before you have to know how to wear sunscreen. I have mentioned these points on different occasions and put on the blog but repeating the important information never hurts.

Use enough sunscreen

Always buy a Spf 30+ sunscreen for daily use. And make sure you apply a coin sized product just for your face and neck. If you do not use enough sunscreen it will not be able to protect your skin.

Use sunscreen on all parts of the body

Using it on the face and neck is not enough. You must use sunscreen on your arms, legs and other exposed parts of the body. And you have to apply the same amount of sunscreen everywhere – a coin sized product for both arms, legs and other exposed parts. Be sure to wear your sunscreen while swimming and apply it as soon as you are out of the pool.

Makeup and moisturizers with spf are not sunscreens

Sunscreens are formulated differently from other products. Never confuse skin care products with SPF as a sunscreen. They are not designed to protect your skin as well as sunscreen although the ingredients seem to be the same. Also, makeup and bb creams with SPF are not enough. For lips, use lip balm with higher SPF but continue to apply them as often as possible.

sun protection, why

My recommendations for sunscreen

Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch Sun Block : Absolutely my favorite and cheaper. I love to use this on my body as well as my face. If I get an expensive sunscreen on my face, I use this for my body.

Ideal Soleil Face Fluid Dry Touch : This is something I tried out last year and it is a fantastic sunscreen for the face especially. It is matte and not really heavy, blends well and looks good. The protection is also fantastic.

Shiseido Multi-Defense UV Protector: Absolutely favorite but extremely expensive! I really love this and if you can afford it, it's great for the face. It sits well, less white molded and does not make the skin oily at all. Quite a long time and redelivery is also easier.

At the moment my list is limited. I hope to update it when I like something I have used. I have started using sun protection again so expect more posts and reviews.

Until then, Swathy.
